The Circle Of Life?

Lioness gored by buffalo horn lives to see another day.

Written by: Patrick Reynolds, Governors Il Moran Camp manager
Lioness Siena from the Marsh Pride of lions in the Masai Mara was badly injured on her left lower flank by a buffalo horn. Siena has three tiny cubs so the lives of four individual lions were at stake. The wound was deep with the skin sheath being fleeced but no perforations to the stomach wall or any bone dislocation. Full article HERE.

On the other hand, from the perspective of the Buffalo:

"What the hey? What are you talking about the circle of life? We Buffalo just can't get a break.  I finally get a 'W' against the pride of lions, and you go and move the Goal Posts.

So, like where were all of you last week when the pride was eating Aunt Gloria?"

Happy Fathers Day 2017

Happy Fathers Day 2017

God bless all you dads out there. What an awesome responsibility being a father is...and such a roller coaster ride of emotions, work, and stress...so exhausting, exhilarating, frustrating and rewarding all at the same time.
.

You'll constantly teach them, they'll mimic your every move (good or bad) as you watch them grow...and that will happen miraculously fast...and they will leave you before you are ready for it...you'll never see it coming...
There are good times and sad times...it will be tough having to let your children move on with their lives...you're frightened, sad, proud and happy all at the same time.

Sometimes family feels like chains that bind you down...but in time you will be thankful for those chains, for those once heavy chains, will also bind you together throughout your life. They will be a blessing in your aging years as long as you live...and on through the eternities.
Spending time with your children is SO important...it means SO much to them...even if you're too tired from work to do anything but lie there and snooze while they use your body as a fantasy neighborhood playground.

 As the old adage states:
"The family the prays together, stays together".
No matter your choice or tradition of faith...it's not likely to hurt.
