China Part XXXVI The Hutongs (continued-pt.2)




Most of the hutongs we went down seemed to be dug up for some sort of reconstruction. I felt sorry for the drivers, the rough terrain made the job extra hard on their legs.




As always the ubiquitous souvenir hawkers where there to follow us.
When they couldn't get a sell out of us they peddled ahead to the next rickshaw to try their luck there.





A lot of pipe stockpiled for whatever construction was going on.







Soon the ride cam to an end and we said good by and thanked our drivers.
